Ductless systems are priced by the number of zones rather than by the square footage of the home, so no home size adjustment applies here. Air handling upgrades such as a filter cabinet, a UV scrubber or humidity control belong to ducted systems and are not offered on a ductless install.

Why does a new installation cost more than a replacement?
From three zones up, new line sets have to be run through the house. Three zones is $7,600 as a replacement and $11,100 as a new installation. At one and two zones the price is the same either way.
What does a ceiling cassette add?
$700 per zone instead of a wall unit. Five cassettes on a five zone system add $3,500.
Does the size of my home change a ductless price?
No. Ductless is priced by the number of zones, so no home size adjustment applies. Zones are what we work out at the free assessment.
Is the estimate free?
Yes. The in-home assessment is free and there is no obligation to book the work afterwards.
Does the price include permits?
Yes. City permits and the paperwork are pulled in your name and are part of the job, not an extra line.
