What exactly does this calculator work out?
The installed price of a new system, the typical range for a repair, or the cost of a tune-up, depending on which of the three you pick at the top. Installation figures come from our published price list, so the number here and the number on the pricing pages are always the same.
Is the number binding?
No, and no honest calculator could be. It cannot see your ductwork, your panel or your crawl space. It gives you the range we quote for that configuration; the exact figure comes from a free in-home assessment.
Do I have to leave my details to see the price?
No. The range updates as you answer and nothing is sent anywhere. Contact details are asked for only if you decide to book the visit.
How is this different from the full form?
Only in how the questions are presented. Both pages run the same calculator and produce identical numbers; this one asks one question at a time, the other shows them all on one screen. You can switch between them mid-way and your answers carry over.

Most HVAC quotes start with a phone call and end with someone in your kitchen a week later. This page skips both: you answer one question at a time and see the same range we would quote, built from the same published price list. Furnaces start at $3,300 installed, central air conditioning at $6,900, heat pumps at $7,500 and ductless mini-splits at $4,600.
The questions change as you answer them, because the work does. Choosing a ductless system removes the home size question, since ductless is priced by zone rather than by square footage. Choosing a straight replacement removes the 220V electrical line, because the circuit is already there.
