How We Install, Step By Step
Anyone can photograph a clean outdoor unit on the day the job ends. These are photos of the work that happens before that: line sets routed through the crawl space, wiring run inside the framing, and the connections that decide whether the system still works in ten years.
What Happens, And In What Order
We look at the house first
The assessment is in your home, not over the phone. We check the existing system, the electrical panel, where the line set can run, and where the indoor unit can go without cutting through a room. That visit is free and there is no obligation.
You get an itemized quote before anything starts
Equipment, labour, permits and any extra work are listed separately. If something is uncertain at that point, we say so rather than hiding it in a round number.
Rough-in: the part in the photos below
Refrigerant lines, condensate and wiring are routed through the crawl space, the framing or along the wall in a covered run. This is the work that is invisible once the drywall and the covers go back on, and it is where a job is won or lost.
Equipment set, connected and tested
The outdoor unit goes on a level pad or a wall bracket, the indoor unit is mounted, the system is evacuated and charged, and readings are taken with gauges before we call it finished.
Permits, inspection and cleanup
We pull city permits in your name and handle the paperwork. The site is left clean, and you are shown how the system is operated before we leave.
The Work You Will Never See Again
Once the covers go on and the drywall closes, none of this is visible. That is exactly why it is worth looking at before you choose who does it.

What Gets Checked
- The system is evacuated and charged to the manufacturer's numbers, with readings taken on gauges, not estimated.
- The outdoor unit sits level on a pad or bracket, with clearance for airflow and for service later.
- Condensate drains where it should, and not into the crawl space.
- Electrical is in conduit, the disconnect is reachable, and the work is done to code so the inspection passes.
- Line-set runs are insulated end to end and covered where they are visible from outside.
