Our Diamond Contractor accreditation is in progress
We are completing the Diamond Contractor qualification with Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US and expect to hold it in October 2026. Until the certificate is in our hands, this page does not claim it.
What is in place today, and verifiable today: a Washington contractor licence, a bond and insurance, all published with numbers on the licensing page, and eleven photographed Mitsubishi installs out of thirty-two jobs on this site. We would rather tell you what is pending than let you find out.
Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US trains and accredits the contractors who install its equipment, through what it calls a multi-stage qualification process. For a homeowner the practical effect is the extended warranty: an accredited install can be registered for 12 years on parts and compressor instead of the standard terms.

These are two different things and both matter. The accreditation says the manufacturer trained us on its equipment. The right to work on your house in Washington comes from the state, together with the bond and the insurance that protect you if something goes wrong on your property.

One more thing worth knowing: an accreditation is not a substitute for sizing the system properly. The most expensive mistake in this trade is equipment chosen by rule of thumb, which is why our assessment starts with the house rather than with a model number.
